The ILHS Winter Guard has evolved into one of the program’s fastest-growing and most decorated performance groups. What began as a single small competitive unit has expanded into Varsity and JV teams, offering opportunities for performers of all skill levels.

Winter Guard has earned increasing recognition across the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association (CWEA), including a Bronze Medal in recent competition.

Membership continues to rise, reaching more than 25 performers, with students performing shows that blend dance, drama, and equipment work into emotionally powerful productions.

As the group grows in both numbers and competitive achievement, the Winter Guard continues to showcase the highest levels of artistry, discipline, and teamwork—carrying the ILHS spirit into the winter season and beyond.
